Client Service Associate

The role of Client Service Associate includes general account support functions and customer service assistance which includes learning to use a proprietary E-Tool to assist clients with navigating health benefits. This is a great opportunity to begin a career in a dynamic industry.
Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Proficiency in Computer Science, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook is required.
- Excellent communication skills. (written and verbal)
- Detailed oriented, organized, and capable of multi-tasking.
- Ability to work well in a team environment but also be self-disciplined.
Preferred candidates will have:
- Desire to learn and advance in the Employee Benefits market.
- Prior customer service experience.
- 1 – 3 years experience in health benefits.
Responsibilities include:
- Learning PGB’s proprietary E-Benefit Tool and assisting clients with use of tool via client service.
- Assisting the account team with implementation, plan administration, wellness initiatives, open enrollment and client issues resolution.
- Communicating effectively with clients, insurance carriers and internal team members from various departments.
- Maintaining accurate client files and records for general reference and office use.
- Preparation for and participation in conference calls / meetings.
- Contributing to the team effort by supporting other functions when needed.

Insurance Sales Representative – Group Insurance

We are currently searching for a Group Insurance Sales Representative to join our organization. This role has a competitive BASE salary and offers aggressive commissions. The role of Group Insurance Sales Representative will exclusively focus on prospecting and building new relationships for Paul Global Benefits.
The position will require prospecting calls, some sales visits and presentations and hosting conference calls with PGB team and prospective new clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
We currently have an opening for an Underwriter within our team. The primary responsibilities of this role will be financial review of insurance terms, conditions and market competitiveness. The role also includes the preparation of all Requests for Proposals from the marketplace as well as renewal evaluations for assigned clients. The role will report to the Assistant Vice President Underwriting and predominately focus on client management support and new business financial evaluations.
The position will require the following tasks:
- Proactive financial monitoring and review for assigned cases.
- Create monthly financial reporting packages including detailed premium, claims, membership, commission, and cash reconciliation information.
- Assist in creating weekly, monthly and quarterly financial statements and projections.
- Assist in quarterly presentation to clients on financial performance of insurance programs.
- New Business Financial Evaluations as needed by sales team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex financial concepts into customer friendly format.
- Strong understanding of Excel and PowerPoint are required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Insurance preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical underwriting required.
Skills

We currently have an opening to expand our growing Underwriting team. The responsibilities of this role will be financial review of insurance terms, conditions and market competitiveness. The role also includes the preparation of all Requests for Proposals from the marketplace as well as renewal evaluations for assigned clients. The right candidate will report to the Vice President Underwriting and predominately focus on client management support and new business financial evaluations. The position is located in our corporate headquarters in Syosset, NY.
